HeyGen credits explained: how many minutes do 600 credits buy?

Choose the model and look before budgeting. With 600 credits, Avatar IV Photo Look allows 37.5 generation minutes; Video Look allows about 19.35. Avatar V allows 12.5. A single universal minutes figure would hide this difference.

Calculate your generation allowance

Divide available credits by the applicable rate. This table assumes the entire balance is spent on one model/look. Values are rounded down to two decimal places; other features and billable revisions reduce the balance.

What the subscription price buys

HeyGen pricing lists Creator at $29/month for 600 credits and Pro starting at $49/month for 1,000. Business starts at $149/month for the first seat and 1,500 shared credits; additional seats cost $20 each and do not increase the pool. Creator and Pro allow videos up to 30 minutes; that is a per-video limit, not a monthly allowance.

Worked example: Creator costs $29 Ã· 37.5 = about $0.77 per included Photo Look minute, or $29 Ã· (600 Ã· 31) = about $1.50 per Video Look minute. Spending the balance on Avatar V gives $2.32 per included minute. These are allocation ratios, not quotes for extra usage or finished deliverables.

Rollover and extra credits

Unused monthly-plan credits carry for one additional cycle. Annual-plan credits are allocated monthly and unused credits accumulate until annual renewal. Creator and Pro require a tier upgrade for more credits; Business supports credit add-ons. Check your current account terms before paying.

Choose the look needed for your actual lesson.
Record the quoted credits before rendering a representative excerpt.
Budget separately for corrections, translation and assets.
Compare the result with your quality and editing requirements before committing.

Does the free plan use the same credit pool?

No. HeyGen describes a separate free-video quota that can vary by region. Check the offer shown in your account.
